- Use the Rank calculation in an Excel pivot table, to make it easier to compare data. It’s easier to read the rank number, e.g. 1 to 100, rather than much larger numbers.

2. Bullet Charts
Jon Peltier has updated and simplified his instructions for creating bullet charts in Excel. If you make other types of complex charts, you can save time with Jon’s Excel Charting Utility.
3. Export Your Dashboards
If you ever need to export an Excel dashboard to Word, PowerPoint, PDF, XPS or pictures, download a copy of Robert Mundigl’s Dashboard Exporter template. You can export one date range, or several, and save yourself from hours of cutting and pasting, between Excel and another application.
4. Using COUNTIF
Alan Murray shows 5 ways to use the COUNTIF function. For example, use it with data validation, to prevent duplicates, or set a conditional formatting rule that highlights items that occur three or more times in a list.
5. Introduction to Slicers
Chandoo wrote a great introduction to Slicers, so if you haven’t used that feature yet, or aren’t familiar with all the things that Slicers can do, be sure to read it, and download the sample file.
