Here’s an Excel Christmas tree for you to enjoy, if you have Excel 2007.
Conditional Formatting Lights
The lights on the tree are created with conditional formatting icons, and will change colour if you press the F9 key, to recalculate the worksheet.
You can download the zipped Excel Christmas tree file, and it doesn’t contain any macros.
However, the conditional formatting icons will only work in Excel 2007 or later.

- One version has a scroll bar that you use to add the decorations, layer by layer, and see an cheerful message for each step in the decorating.
- Another version has a star at the top, and presents under the tree.
